I’ve written a range of guides for beginners so they can get a full understanding of how to create their own digital empire, particular through affiliate marketing.
There are primarily two types of affiliate websites that anyone can build:
- Niche websites where you write on a particular targeted topic, such as badminton skills, jet ski ownership, aquarium information and more. Your visitors generally only visit the site once, you’ll have limited to no direct contact with your audience. Niche sites is the most passive strategy
available. - Authority websites where you are much more refined with your strategy. You might own a photography site, an internet forum on frequent flyer schemes and are likely to have a membership program. This is a lot more work, but potentially will drive a lot more income, provided you do the work. Authority sites
isn’t a passive strategy as it requires frequent inputs and customer service.
In my case, I have both types. Neither is ‘better’ than the other. I like the laid back approach to niche websites, but also, the significant growth potential from authority websites.
Most people opt for the niche strategy. Simply find the one that works best for you.
To keep things simplified, I’ve divided this into 3 separate guides.
1. Choosing a topic
2. Writing content
3. Site monetization
Each guide runs onward from the next.
Based on my 10-year journey of success (and some epic failures) through this journey.
I hope you’ll learn a thing or two. 🙂
