Looking to boost your landing page conversion? You can easily do just that! Without spending fortunes on more tools or ‘marketing professionals’.
I’ll be sharing 7 tips which you can use to boost your landing page conversion. In less than 10 minutes you can drastically optimize your conversion rate on landing pages and opt-in forms.

Whether this is a sales funnel or merely a lead-magnet, many marketers are simply falling short. This guide is designed for beginners who really want to minimize their bounce rates. After all, with the ever-increasing cost of PPC, but also the super-competitive SEO space, we don’t want warm leads to go to waste.
Let’s begin!
Start with video
Videos are coverting the best in 2019 and will trend that way for a very long time. If you’re not yet using video, then you need to! Visitors way to know:
- What you’re offering
- Why you’re offering it (To get them XYZ results)
- How you’ll offer it (Video training course)
- Why THEY need to get started
The best videos solve common problems. The video IS the solution. Many people today don’t want to sit back and read pages full of text. Provide them
The word ‘FREE’ Converts
People love free stuff. That said, they aren’t your strongest lead. But they really do like free content and training.
By this, you can not only pre-sell them, but they get a sense of your teaching style. So really, this is a two-way street.
- ‘Get this Free Video Training Course’
- ‘Join 700 others who started for free just now’
- ‘Use this exclusive and complimentary online training’
These phrases create a very high Return on Investment for digital marketers such as myself. I would avoid using the word ‘free’ in emails, but instead, use complementary or your gift to avoid spam filters.
Avoid over-asking
You shouldn’t ever ask for too much. In my opt-in forms, I generally just ask for 2 pieces of content. Name and Email Address. That’s it.
Keep it simple. People have a very limited attention span. They’re gone in 2 seconds, so reduce that barrier of entry to build your email list. Most marketers will find ‘enough’ to build their list, instead of asking for full name, address and phone numbers.
Use social proof
People need to know that this thing is real. There is, after all, so much rubbish on the internet. You need to prove value in your product, so as to increase conversions.
Provide that proof of concept through social testimonials. Show other people who have used your product and have found success. People need to know that this thing works, and this is best achieved through social proof and ‘people just like me’ getting results.
Test and measure
I meet so many marketers who are not doing any form of split-testing. I mean – come on! It’s 2019. You want to test and measure, then cut the fat. Optimize and improve, otherwise it’s costing you dollars.
The easiest way is to do A/B split-testing. I like ClickFunnels but there is many options that today’s marketers use to maximize their results on the internet.
Lastly, be real
Everyone can spot a fake these days. You need to be real. Be raw. Be the person who you’d buy from. Avoid anything that someone might call BS on.
If you haven’t gotten the results that you claim, then don’t lie about it. The internet will still be here tomorrow. Plus, with the internet, it’s far too easy to research such claims.
People are sick of being lied to. Just bring the truth, as that has converted the best for me in many campaigns.
Expanding landing page conversion
These tips to boost landing page conversion rates for internet marketers are short and simple. You can vastly improve your conversion rate in 10 minutes or less, without too many complexities.
But then again, landing pages are a long-term game plan. To become a successful digital marketer takes years of practice and hard work. Some people just aren’t cut out for it. But if you are – keep on going! And if you need a hand, feel free to drop me a line and I can help you out.
